Welcome to the Deep & Moody Bath Retreat, a sultry sanctuary layered in texture, contrast, and charm. This space takes traditional bath design and flips the script, starting with an original exposed brick hearth nestled beneath natural maple cabinetry, a nod to the home’s character and a cozy visual surprise.

Against dramatic navy-charcoal walls, a black clawfoot tub stands as a sculptural centerpiece, surrounded by warm woven blinds and touches of greenery that soften the room’s edge. Behind the vanity, custom floral wallpaper adds playful depth, while unlacquered brass fixtures and vintage-inspired hex tile ground the design in tactile elegance.

In the main bath, deep navy cabinetry pairs with crisp black hardware, grounding the space while soft globe sconces and patterned tile flooring add a boutique-hotel charm.

Next door, the secondary bath embraces serenity with sage green walls, hexagonal tile, and floating shelves for a fresh, modern touch. The centerpiece? A wet-room-inspired tub and shower zone with mosaic niches, marble slab steps, and elongated subway tile that adds architectural impact.

Both spaces share a unifying thread, natural stone counters, matte black fixtures, and tailored lighting that balances mood and function. Together, they show how intentional design can bring both luxury and tranquility into the everyday.

The vaulted ceiling opens up the space, creating a sense of airiness around the sculptural freestanding tub. A feature wall of deep indigo elongated tile draws the eye immediately, serving as a bold yet graceful backdrop behind the frameless glass shower and floating wood shelves.

Below, soft patterned floor tile lends old-world charm, while the classic gray double vanity with white quartz counters anchors the design in symmetry and calm.

Matte black fixtures punctuate the space, creating contrast and confidence within a serene palette. The result is a room that feels architectural, balanced, and quietly luxurious, a place where design feels timeless yet deeply personal.
