At Joshua Allen Design, we believe true luxury lies in the details, and this wine room renovation is a perfect example. Designed for both function and beauty, this space was transformed from an unused area into a refined retreat ideal for wine lovers and entertainers alike.

Curated Comfort: Seating That Invites

The seating area was designed to create both comfort and contrast. We selected:

Two deep emerald velvet armchairs with sleek gold bases
Two black leather club chairs that add structure and timeless sophistication

These pieces balance plush textures with bold silhouettes, creating a perfect space to relax with a glass of wine.

A Fixture That Dazzles

A stunning spiral pendant light fixture is the undeniable star of the ceiling. Its sculptural form and warm glow elevate the atmosphere, adding drama and intimacy to the room. It’s more than lighting it’s a statement piece.

Reflective Elegance: The Mirror Wall

Across from the main cabinetry wall, we placed a distressed antique mirror—a bold design choice that enhances depth, reflects ambient light, and ties the room together. It beautifully captures the chandelier and custom cabinetry in its reflection, adding to the room’s sense of openness and artistry.

Custom Cabinetry for the Connoisseur

We designed floor-to-ceiling custom cabinetry in rich wood tones, integrating:

Built-in wine racks for visual storage
Dual climate-controlled wine fridges
A stacked stone backsplash for texture
Suspended glassware holders
Floating wine racks that turn bottles into artwork

Every detail was tailored to the client’s collection and lifestyle, combining function, form, and craftsmanship.

From the wine-themed art hanging near the lounge chairs to the matte stone tile flooring, brass hardware, and granite countertops, every element was chosen with intention. The final result is layered, cohesive, and grounded in elegance.
