This space beautifully balances a bold sage green island and crisp white cabinetry with a love letter to the past: an original cast iron cookstove set against exposed brick and styled like a curated museum piece. Warm wood textures, matte black metals, and vintage brass details layer in richness and contrast—from the industrial pendants above the island to the petite wall sconce illuminating floating wood shelves styled with heirlooms and artisan finds. We preserved the story of the home while updating its functionality, creating thoughtful pockets of seating and display—like the bench nook nestled under family photo moments. It’s a kitchen where history lives on, reimagined for modern life with a refreshingly green twist.
