Who Might be Involved in your Project?
The
Creative
The Interior Designer: it is the role of the designer to create the best layout, flow, and overall aesthetic design of a space. Conceptual design, floor planning, digital rendering, and item/material sourcing and pricing are all responsibilities of the interior designer.
The Mathematician
The Architect: every project that requires modifications to the skeleton of a property requires a set of plans from an architect. This role uses math, code, and experience to finalize creative plans for build-out. The plans provided by an architect are used to obtain building permits.
The
Project Leader
The General Contractor: the "GC" is the go-to person for all things related to your project. This role ensures a smooth project from beginning to end and works directly with all parties to ensure the overall vision is achieved.
The
Specialists
The Tradespeople: these individuals are professionals within a trade and are brought in throughout the duration of a project to physically complete the work they specialize in. Electricians, painters, plumbers, etc. all fall within this category and are typically managed by the GC.
